Danny Goldberg is the President of Gold Village Entertainment a personal management company whose clients include Steve Earle, The Waterboys and Martha Wainwright.
He is also the author of five books including ,Serving The Servant:Remembering Kurt Cobain, In Search of the Lost Chord:1967 and the Hippie Idea, Bumping Into Geniuses: My Life in the Rock and Roll Business, and Bloody Crossroads 2020:Art,Entertainment and Resistance to Trump.
Goldberg started his career as a journalist and reviewed the Woodstock Festival for Billboard when he was nineteen.
In the early nineteen seventies Goldberg was Led Zeppelin’s publicist and later was Vice-President of their label Swan Song Records.
In 1980 he created Modern Records with Paul Fishkin and the label released Stevie Nicks first several solo albums. Also in 1980 he co-produced and co-directed the music documentary No Nukes starring Bruce Springsteen.
In the late eighties Goldberg created and ran Gold Mountain Entertainment a management company whose clients included Nirvana, Bonnie Raitt and The Allman Brothers Band.
Between 1993 and 2005 he ran four record labels as President of Atlantic Records, Chairman of Warner Bros. Records, Chairman of the Mercury Records Group and Chairman of Artemis Records.
