Eddie Levert is one of the founders and lead singer of the legendary R&B group, The O'Jays. With a career that spans over 60 years releasing multiple iconic and number one singles including “Backstabber,” “For the Love of Money,” “Love Train,” “I Love Music,” Levert and the O’Jays have received an NAACP Image Award, American Music Award, Soul Train’s Quincy Jones Award for Outstanding Career Achievement, Black Entertainment Television’s Lifetime Achievement Award and a Trumpet Lifetime Achievement Award. They have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, NAACP Hall of Fame, Rhythm & Blues Music Hall of Fame, Vocal Group Hall of Fame, and their songs “Love Train” and “For The Love Of Money” have been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Levert actively performs and tours globally with the O'Jays and as a solo artist. Throughout Eddie Levert's career, The O'Jays have released ten Gold Albums, with nine achieving Platinum status and ten No. 1 hits. His sons Sean and Gerald founded LeVert while still in high school and under the mentorship and creative input of their father, had four of their seven career albums achieve Platinum sales status.
